Letter Dropping!

When Estate Agents letter drop they drop letters into homes by hand with in their trading area. This for many years has been a great method used to generate more valuations; in America you would say listings.
The New Letter Dropping has arrived and its easier, more effective and you don’t need your wellingtons for a rainy day, you also got a green twist with it for the green companies out there. Letter drop this new way and reach millions of potential customers not just a few hundred. They will stay loyal when they like you and you can reach them in seconds.
It’s called Twitter and Blogging two well-known words for some but not used yet by the UK professionals as effective as it could be.
Spending a decade in the UK market as an Estate Agent I know how powerful letter dropping was, 500 a day, rotation system and by the end of the week you aim to get a few thousand into the local letter boxes. Yes we know most went into the bin but you would be surprised how effective they were if you were consistent.

Kathleen has 63 followers from professionals to local community people and friends. This means in a split second Kathleen can get a message out to her fans. In a few years who knows how many followers and new business opportunities she will receive thru Twitter just for a few minutes a day of her time.
This is what Dell did in setting up an account for Dell Outlet. The beauty of this is that it's completely opt-in, you have to follow Dell Outlet on Twitter in order to hear about Dell's offerings. So if you don't want to be advertised to, simply don't follow that account on Twitter.
Dell opened a Twitter account for Dell Outlet in June 2007 and claims that the account has led to over $500,000 in sales so far. And as of September 2008, the account had over 1,800 followers.
